Sarah Lown
Sarah Lown was born in Florida and spent summers in Western North Carolina before moving there to attend Western Carolina University. There, she worked as a project manager of the Sustainable Energy Initiative and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.A. in Environmental Science in 2020.
Sarah began her legal education at S.J. Quinny College of Law at the University of Utah before transferring to the University of Tennessee College of Law and earning her Juris Doctor in 2024. During her time in law school, Sarah was a member of the law women caucus, environmental law organization, and served as an executive member on Pro Bono. During her last year, she completed an internship with the Electric Power Research Institute working on legal compliance and contract negotiations with the legal Compliance Team.
In 2024, Sarah was admitted to the Tennessee Bar and began practicing in Knoxville, Tennessee. She is a member of the Knoxville Bar Association, the Energy Bar Association, and the Tennessee Bar Association. Her practice is based in Knoxville, but she represents clients throughout East Tennessee. She works in the areas of family law and general litigation.
